Cory Gene Leniuk

Cory is the lead Architect at JMAA architecture with over 15 years experience in both architecture and landscape design and 14 years of experience in construction. Cory brings with him a wealth of technical and creative expertise to the team.  He has a keen architectural eye combined with a pragmatic approach to design to create unique building solutions. 

Cory completed his undergraduate degree with an emphasis on Landscape Architecture.  He went on to work for 4 years under the guidance of a Landscape Architect.  While working in this field he also pursued a Masters of Architecture graduates degree.  While completing the three-year Master Program at the University of Manitoba, Cory worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Computer Aided Design Lab and as a Teaching Assistant/ Studio Critic at the University of Manitoba in both the Environmental Design Program and the Faculty of Architecture.

He was also active in his own design company on projects involving construction, graphic design, furniture design and landscape design.  Cory is also a LEED green Associate.  

 

Cory has a multitude of project experience ranging through all types of commercial architecture including Office design, Healthcare, Industrial, Residential, Community and Cultural Buildings, Religious, Affordable Housing,  Multi-Family Living, Heritage Renovations and Restorations, LEED + sustainable designs.
