JMAA architecture was commissioned to complete two parts for this project.  The first was to complete a feasibility study to determine the best location for the lodge.  The second, after determining the best location, as to design and build a new three storey building which includes 61 standard suites and 24 dementia suites.  Within this suite count includes one bedroom suites, standard suites and bariatric suites.  Suites have kitchenettes and barrier free washrooms and living space.  The lodge will also include several other amenities such as landscaped outdoor spaces, dining areas, and gathering spaces.  The lodges design highlights and frames the beautiful natural views in the area.  This project is the LEED pilot project for Alberta Social Housing.
