LA FRANCE HOUSE
WHERE
Red Deer,
Alberta, Canada
JMAA architecture has taken much pride in restoring significant buildings in Red Deer. From the Conquest House, Michener Bend, the Canadian Pacific Railway station to list a few, many historical buildings remain here for us to enjoy today due to JMAA architecture in cooperation with some very special Clients.
The La France House was a place John Murray and his wife Mary called home for many years. Located in Downtown Red Deer this home with its tranquil classic garden backyard is a refuge from the busy downtown life. Special design elements are a walk our basement, master bedroom located in the upper turret and a glass box breakfast nook which was a modern feature that seamlessly blended into the original style of the building.
